The ‘Three Counties Cobweb-Buster’ (Gloucestershire Spring Open Meeting – 1st Stage, Hereford and Worcester Rifle Association Open Meeting) – Sunday 19th April-2026
Entry is set at £85 with a £2.50 discount on offer for entering the Ibis Open (Sat 18th April 2026)
The Three Counties ‘Cobweb-Buster’ includes a varied programme of TR, and Any Rifle shooting over 600, 600, 900 & 1000yds.
Own ammo and hand loads only.
We will be running practice targets on Saturday 18th April for those that wish to join. The IBIS open is also running on the 18th should you wish to make a competitive weekend of it - entry forms are also on shootr.app.

Competitors will fire in two details at each range with prize giving following the final shot
All shooters are responsible for ensuring that their firearms and ammunition are safe to use. All ammunition must comply with the NSC range regulations https://www.nscbisley.co.uk/ranges/range-regulations/
TR Competitors must provide their own ammunition of .308 or .223 calibre, with a bullet weight of 156gr or less. If you are using hand loaded ammunition you must have hand loading on your SSC.
Any Rifle Competitors must provide their own ammunition in compliance with range regulations. If you are using hand loaded ammunition you must have hand loading on your SSC.
RULES
1. NRA regulations for the current year apply unless otherwise stated.
2. NRA TR classifications (T, O, A or X) for the current year will apply.
3. Competitions are open to NRA members and members of any Rifle Club affiliated to the NRA
4. The Meeting Committee reserves the right to amend the rules and conditions of shooting, and to vary the Prize Lists according to the number of entries received.
SAFETY
1. All competitors are expected to be familiar with, and to observe, NRA conduct of competitions regulations, especially nos. 269 - 278.
2. HME shooters will be required to provide a NRA photocopy of their NRA Zero Range card WHEN PICKING UP SQUADDING cards. (HME shooters will be squadded on the 2nd detail to allow time for Zeroing.)
3. All competitors must have a Firearms Certificate for the rifle to be used in this event or be exempted by virtue of participating as a member of a Home Office Approved Club, and not being disbarred from holding a Firearms Certificate
First 600yds
600yds - 2 sighters, and 10 shots, NRA targets.
Second 600yds
600yds - 2 sighters, and 15 shots, NRA targets.
900yds
900yds - 2 sighters, and 10 shots, NRA targets.
1000yds
1000yds - 2 sighters, and 10 shots, NRA targets.
First 600yds
600yds - 2 sighters, and 10 shots, NRA targets.
Second 600yds
600yds - 2 sighters, and 15 shots, NRA targets.
900yds
900yds - 2 sighters, and 10 shots, NRA targets.
